Deborah De Jong started her journey in life, growing up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney with a Welsh/Italian heritage. Deb was always creative as a child and enjoyed singing. In her adult years, Deborah and her then husband formed the hugely successful “Fantastic Furniture” franchise with 18 stores Australia wide and 500 staff. Deb has also studied interior design, in which she re-discovered her love of creativity and also moved into the area of colour psychology.

After completing her Interior Design course, Deb was asked to do a screen test for “Changing Rooms” and “Renovation Rescue” at Channel 9, a position she secured as designer/presenter for 4 years. This television exposure brought along an incredible amount of speaking engagements – both for motivation purposes as well as design expertise. With determination and strength, Deb overcame personal challenges and difficulties in her life to achieve success and hence has been a motivational speaker for many womens groups on “Finding and Following your Dreams”.
